How to write Morse code here
- Use
.for a dot and-for a dash. The look-alike characters·,−and_also work. - Put a space between letters.
- Put
/(or two spaces) between words.
Anything that isn’t a valid Morse character comes out as ?. Characters without a Morse code (like # or %) are skipped when translating text.
Timing
Sound uses the standard timing: a dash is three dots long, the gap inside a character is one dot, between letters three dots, and between words seven. Speed is in words per minute using the standard word “PARIS”, so at 20 WPM one dot lasts 60 milliseconds.
